Welcome
I call this the Pen & Quill. It was the name of a restaurant near my hometown of El Segundo, and it sounds literary; don't you think? In my stories, I include details of real incidents with which, in some, cases, I take some poetic license to create a workable piece of short fiction. I'll always let you know when a work here is sufficiently fictionalized to call attention to it.. Otherwise, it is safe to consider each story factual. In some cases, I may be giving you the retelling of a story from more than one source that happened long ago, such as the one about how my parents met, courted, and married, "Sam & Babe & Francesco . . . ".
